Current Consultancy Projects

		Geographical Association I am a Geographical Association Consultant. The GA maintains a vetted directory of GA Consultants who can be approached to deliver training and presentations, produce materials and resources and advise on a range of geographical education related topics.
		InThinking I lead workshops for the educational consultancy service InThinking. I lead workshops for teachers new to IB DP Geography, experienced IB DP Geography teachers and in 'ICT for Humanities'. Recommendations from my past workshops can be found here. 		International Baccalaureate Organization The IB Geography 2009-2017 Wiki is a project commissioned by the International Baccalaureate Organization to support teachers with resourcing the IB DP Geography syllabus. A blog accompanies the project and can be read here.

		I have presented at or ran workshops for: International School of Amsterdam; English Schools Foundation, Hong Kong; International Schools IT Conference at the British School of Brussels, 2011 Geographical Association Conference.
		Hodder Education I guest blogged for the Hodder Geography Nest in November 2011 writing about the International Baccalaureate, teaching abroad, Google Earth and YouTube.
		Google As an educator I was invited to attended the Geo Moderators & Pangaea Summit in Rome in 2011.
		Geography in the News I have written a case study about Antarctic Tourism for the Royal Geographical Society's 'Geography in the News' website. I have also contributed IB Geography focused input to compliment recent case studies. The 'Should I stay or should I go?' can be found here.
		Sky Learning I wrote a study guide to accompany a National Geographic documentary called "Six Degrees Could Change the World". The study guide is intended to focus the content of the documentary for GCSE and AS/A2 level Geography students.
		Oxfam Education I have completed some 'proof of concept' work for Oxfam focusing upon the use of the gapminder project. The video I produced can be found here.
		Boardworks A lesson plan using Boardworks resources on glacial landforms. Consultation and reviewing work for geographical 'mystery' related exercises.

		Google Lat Long Blog I contributed a blog post based upon my thoughts on the importance of Google Earth in the classroom. The post was based upon the use of Google Earth in two different lessons on geographyalltheway.com: Limestone Landscapes and Volcanic Hazard Management - Mount Rainier, USA.
